Maria Clorinda Trujillo, age 90, a resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away peacefully on March 3rd, 2022 surrounded by her family.

She was born to Hipolito and Mariquita Baca on July 19th, 1931.

Clorinda was a longtime Catholic and member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. She was a dedicated wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She was a caring and loving person to all. She had a strong will in continuing and maintaining family values and traditions. She had a loving heart and beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Luis Trujillo; parents, Hipolito and Mariquita Baca; son, Lawrence Trujillo; grandson, Marcelino Trujillo.

Clorinda is survived by her daughters, Lucy Trujillo of Las Vegas, NM, Yolanda Roybal (Henry) of Las Vegas, NM, Rose Dominguez (Marvin) of Las Vegas, NM; sons, Louis Trujillo (Cindy) of Rio Rancho, NM, Geno Trujillo (Darlene) of Las Vegas, NM; daughter in-law, Sadie Trujillo of Las Vegas, NM, and son in-law, Eugene Gonzales of Las Vegas, NM; 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter,  brother: Antonio Baca of Las Vegas, NM;  sisters: Aurora Baca of Las Vegas, NM; Vangie Wiggins and Senida Auggie of  Colorado; numerous nieces, and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Rosary service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Interment will follow at Nuestra Señora del Rosario Cemetery in Lagunita, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers, Leon Trujillo, Rachael Roybal, Jeffrey Trujillo, Stephanie Gonzales, Janelle Trujillo, Amanda Gonzales, Juan Macias, and Gilbert Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers will be all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchild.
