Maria M. Garduno, 96 went to our Lord peacefully on December 15, 2022 at her home in Las Vegas, NM surrounded by her family.

Maria was born on October 11, 1926 to Elijo Martinez and Pablita Romero.

She is preceded in death by her husband of many years Arsenio Garduno Sr., parents Elijo and Pablita Romero, stepfather John Smith, siblings Tessie Urisote, Frances Garcia, Maryann Sandoval and son in law Timothy Hasty.

Maria is survived by her brother Julian Smith, sons Arsenio Garduno Jr. (Loretta), Lawrence Garduno, Anthony Garduno (Kathy), Raul Garduno (Susan), daughters Loretta Garduno, Maxine Garduno and Linda Hasty, numerous, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Rosary services will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 8:30am and funeral mass to follow with both services to be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father Rob Yaksich as celebrant.

Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM at 2:30pm December 28, 2022.
