Marie Virginia Vigil, 79, passed away on Monday November 28th at St. Vincent's Hospital in Santa Fe, NM surrounded by her loved ones.

Marie is survived by her eldest son Joseph M. Vigil and wife Joann Vigil of Las Vegas, NM; daughters Patricia J. Vigil of Las Vegas, NM, Veronica L. Vigil and boyfriend Patrick K. Gonzales of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren Victor A. Vigil of Las Vegas, NM, Marcos Trujillo of Albuquerque, NM, Antonio A. Trujillo and girlfriend Rebecca Medina of Questa, NM, Manuel E. Vigil and girlfriend Gabriela Salinas of Las Vegas, NM, Miguel E. Trujillo of Albuquerque, NM; great-grandchildren Ethan Trujillo, Myra Trujillo, Kayla Trujillo and Ritchie Torrez of Questa, NM; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Marie is preceded in death by husband Joseph A. Vigil; son Leroy A. Vigil, and daughter Annie D. Vigil.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed laughing and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed watching television, playing cards, going to bingo, and listening to music. She loved growing plants and she brought joy to everyone she came across.

Services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM. Rosary will be on Sunday, December 11th at 6 p.m. Mass will be on Monday, December 12th at 9 a.m. Burial will be at a later date.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be; Joseph M. Vigil, Victor A. Vigil, Marcos Trujillo, Antonio A. Trujillo, Manuel E. Vigil, Miguel E. Trujillo, John P. Vigil and Patrick K. Gonzales.

Reception will be on Monday, December 12th at 1 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 2305 Collins Dr. Las Vegas, NM.
