Mario Angelo Solano, beloved Father and Grandfather, passed away surrounded by love and family on September 15, 2025, at the age of 63. Mario was born in Las Vegas, NM on May 15, 1962, to John and Rafaela Solano who precede him in death.

Mario is survived by Anna Rodriguez, who he lovingly referred to as his "favorite ex-wife" and best friend; his daughters, Carli-Rae (Steve) and Angela (Jeffrey), and his grandchildren, who were the joy of his life: LiAnna-Rae, Vivica Jude, Scarlett Mary, Leonardo and baby Eloy, who we know "Pampo Gelo" hand-picked from heaven. Special niece Ashley Wolfel; his siblings Phillip, Dolores, Gloria, and Laura; his beloved mother-in-law Mary Rodriguez, brothers and sisters-in-law Clarence, Alonzo, Christine, Steve, Candelaria and their families, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, Godchildren and friends that he considered family.

Mario met and befriended so many people throughout the years from his days working at the banks in town, the Connection call center, and the various hospitals around NM where he worked as a Medical Lab Tech, and most recently as store manager of the local Murphy's station. Mario loved music, especially rock & roll, we will miss seeing him cruising around town with his windows down jamming out to his favorite tunes. Mario lived his life to the fullest, taking each day as a gift and he will be dearly missed.

Rosary devotional services will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 2nd and Funeral mass at 11:00 am Monday, November 3rd at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
