Mark David Baca, age 62, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away Monday, March 25, 2024. He was born on September 12, 1961, to James Baca and Chonita Lujan Baca. He was a Catholic and member of Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM.

He was preceded in death by his parents Santiago J and Chonita L Baca; Brother, Ernest J Baca, and Nephew, Lonnie Dewayne Baca.

He is survived by his wife Geraldine Baca; Daughters, Adrianna Baca (Nerville) and Marissa Gonzales (Francisco); Grandchildren, D'Shaun and Solis; Siblings, Yvonne Baca (Tony), Carlos Baca, Victor J Baca (Marilyn), Jonas Baca (Geraldine), Michael Baca, Hubert Baca, and Frances Gonzales. Also survived by Brother-In-Law Pat Romero Jr; Sister-In-Laws, Virginia Quintana (Joseph), Yolanda Chavira (Luis), Linda Trujillo (Tony), and numerous nephews and nieces.

Mark was an avid Washington Commanders fan and loved sports. He worked for the Medite Plant and NMDOT and finished his work career at Pat Romero's Bldg. Supply, working there for many years. He loved being outdoors, going to the flea market, and helping people in need. Anyone who knew him knew him for his loud, wild character. He loved his family and friends most of all.

Rosary services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 7:00pm at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM. Funeral mass will be conducted on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Dennis Garcia as Celebrant. Serving as Pallbearers are Joshua Baca, John Gonzales, Eloy Trujillo, Joshua Gutierrez, Michael Baca Jr, Andres Gonzales, Nicholas Gonzales, and Ezekiel Abeyta. Cremation of his remains will take place after services and burial of cremains will follow at a later date at St Anthony's Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM.
