Martha
Sandoval
July 2, 1941 – March 25, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Martha Sandoval on March 25, 2026. Her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. After a long and beautiful life, Martha now reunites in heaven with her devoted husband, Celestino Sandoval, with whom she shared nearly 63 years of marriage.
Martha, 84 was born in Cleveland, New Mexico. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a great cook. Her home was a place of happiness and comfort for all who knew her.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband Celestino Sandoval, parents Antonio and Susana Romero, her siblings Nieves, Eduardo, Ramon, Romanita, Tony, Margarito, David, she is survived by her sisters, Anna and Ida, and her children, Margaret, Clare, Loretta, Darlene, and Jerry.
She was a deeply caring and gentle soul—a devoted wife who would do anything for her husband, standing by his side with unwavering love and loyalty. She was also a proud mother to five children, each of whom she loved with her whole heart. Her family was her greatest joy, and she gave so much of herself to ensure they always felt supported, cared for, and deeply loved.
To her grandchildren, she was simply "Grandma"—a place of comfort, kindness, and unconditional love. She had a special way of making each grandchild feel seen and cared for. In her kitchen, love was always the main ingredient. No matter what she had planned for the day, she would happily set it aside to make whatever her grandchildren were craving, just to see them smile.
Her home was always open, never requiring an invitation. It was a place where you could walk in at any time and be welcomed with open arms, a warm smile, and a sense of belonging that made everything feel okay. She gave so much of herself to those around her—through her time, her care, and the quiet, steady love that defined who she was. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought joy, and her home created memories that will live on in all of us.
Though our hearts are broken, we are endlessly grateful for the love she gave and the memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
