Martin Chano Gabaldon passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2026 at Meadows Nursing Home in Las Vegas, NM at the age of 80.

He was born to the late Feliberto and Alicia Gabaldon on October 24, 1945.

He is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters Leopoldo, Secundino, Feliberto, Eugenio, Elvira and Katherine.

Martin is survived by his wife, Viola of 63 years, daughters Jennifer, Berna (Pablo), Jeanette (Paul) and Jane (Anthony), grandchildren, Lynette, Joshua, Anthony Jr., Richard and Ryan, great grandchildren Alexus and Bentley, sisters and brother, Tino, Gloria and Carol.

He will deeply be missed by all who knew him.

Rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 9:00am funeral mass to follow both services will at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM. Burial of cremains will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM.
