Martin Romero

(August 29, 1965-August 20, 2022)

Martin Romero, 56, a longtime resident of Cleveland, NM passed away on August 20, 2022.

He was born on August 29, 1965 to Margarito Romero and Margaret Lucero in Denver, CO. He is preceded in death by his brother Phillip Romero.

He is survived by his daughter Erica Martinez, grandchildren Jason, Jaylyn, Nadia all of Denver, Co., his mother Margaret Romero (Joseph) of Mora, NM, his father Margarito Romero, of Cleveland, NM, his brothers Louis Romero (Chelsey) of Albuquerque, NM, Angelo Romero (Daniela), Mario Romero (Seph) both of Mora, NM, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He loved to play the drums. He played with many local bands, he loved fishing and selling firewood.

Rosary will be recited on Tuesday September 6, 20222 at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow with Father Paul Grala S.O.L.T.  as Celebrant with both services to be held at St. Gertrude in Mora, NM.

Interment will follow at San Antonio Cemetery in Cleveland, NM. Cremation has taken place.
