Marvin "James" Salazar Jr age 28, of Las Vegas and Rio Rancho was born on August 10th 1995 to Raquel Romero and Marvin Salazar and passed away unexpectedly at his home in Rio Rancho on September 25th 2023.

James is preceded in death by his father Marvin Salazar, great grandmother, Clara Peratrovich Aunt Chickie James and multiple other Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

He is survived by his mother Raquel Romero and Step father Robert Vincent. His sister Kristen Romero (Frankie) and their children Lijah, Zayden and Kingsley, sister Brianna Vigil and her children Peyton, Alexis, Brielle, and Amethyst, sister Kasey Salazar (Carlos) and children Ethan, Myra, Kayla, Cruz and Javier. Brother Alejandro Salazar and his daughter Lena, and brother Albert Salazar. Paternal Grandparents Prescilla Salazar and Marvin James George. Maternal grandparents Mary and Anthony Gonzales. Uncles Manuel Mora (Sandy), Stephen Mora (Amy), Augustine Romero, Jacob Romero (Nicole), Ibar Romero, John Gonzales (Sandy), Antonio Gonzales (Tanya), and numerous other friends and family.

James was a resident of Albuquerque/ Rio Rancho for the past 10+ years. He enjoyed Anime and playing video games with his nephews, uncle and brothers. Anyone who knew and met James knew the quiet kind soul he was. He loved to make jokes and his laugh was contagious. James was loved by many and his memory will not be forgotten.

Rosary service will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 7:00pm and funeral mass will be on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 9:00am with both services to be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM. Burial of cremains will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM.
