Mary Fabiola Martinez, age 87, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, NM passed on Monday, September 26, 2022.

She was born on March 7, 1935 to Adolfo and Juanita Ulibarri in La Lagunita, NM.

Mary was a catholic and member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mary loved to garden, plant flowers, cook, shopping, crocheting and taking care of her pets. She and her husband David were mayordomos at San Antonio in Los Montoya's.

She is preceded in death by her parents: husband: David Martinez; sons: Roger Martinez, Gerald Martinez and Reynaldo Martinez; grandson: Randy Martinez; granddaughter: Rayna Martinez; daughter-in-law: Judy Tafoya; sisters: Theresa Palomino and Margaret Aragon; brothers: Anselmo and Silverio Ulibarri.

Mary is survived by her children: Gilbert Martinez (Kathy) of Las Vegas, NM, William Martinez (Deborah) of Albuquerque, NM, Geraldine Baca (Jonas) Juan Martinez and Jose Martinez all Las Vegas, NM; special grandsons she raised: Roger (Sharon) and family and  Miguel; other grandchildren: Francine (Rocky) and family, Tanya and family, Matthew (Mikala) and family, Sharon and daughter, Lakersha and son, Angel and family, Aurelia (Ramon) and family, William (Dominque) and family, Joey, Janis (Rudy) and family, Amor and family; sister and Christopher and family: Marcella Vigil of Colorado Springs, CO; sister-in-law: Mary Lou Gallegos (Charlie) of Albuquerque, NM; brother-in-law: Juan Martinez (Pat) of Albuquerque, NM; sister-in-law: Sofia Ulibarri of Solano, NM; numerous: nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rosary service will be recited on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 6:00pm. Funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 9:00am with Father Rob Yaksich as celebrant both services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Interment will follow at Los Montoya's Cemetery in Los Montoya's, NM with the followings serving as Pallbearers Jose Martinez, Miguel Martinez, Roger Martinez, Nikko Baca, Marky Trujillo and Danny Palomino. Honorary Pallbearers will be her remaining grandchildren.
