Obituary

Matthew L. Vigil left this world to start his journey to the heavens on September 10,2026. Matthew was born on June 18,1973. A birthday that he shared with his beloved mother. Matthew passed away at the family home surrounded by those he treasured most. He had many nicknames; Faja (his children), Vato Loco (his wife), Orphan, Little Sister, and Tombstone given to him by special friends.

He is proceeded in death by his son Kaleb Vigil, by his parents Loretta & Al Vigil & his father-in-law Manuel Solano.

He is survived by his wonderful wife of 20yrs Susanna, his daughter Bethany, sons Jabien and Valentine, son in law Eden who Matt called Doodles or Raisin Brian depending on the day. His mother-in-law Berlin Solano, brother-in-law Jon Solano (Amber). His brother by choice Phillip Marquez & wife Louann, brother Fernando Vigil (Lorraine), sisters Rayne Martin (David) & Valerie Vigil. His godchildren Tangerine Dominguez, Brandyn Vigil, Pamela Solano & many nieces and nephews.

Matt was a fan of the Raiders, Lobos, Kiss and Oakland As. He was always adding to the bucket list of life. The memories we have are abundant. He loved camping and mud bugging in Las Dispensas. He spent lots of time taking his family to movies and various concerts. Every year you'd find him and his wife at the Spanish market or the Good Friday cruise in Espanola. He had a beautiful smile, piercing eyes that changed colors from green to blue. Matt had a joyful personality, known to be humorous, and was loved by so many. Matthew was his mother-in-law's favorite son-in-law. Matthew was a good friend, a husband, a brother, an uncle, and a wonderfully dedicated father. He graduated from west Las Vegas in 1991. He was currently working at Wal-Mart.

His hobbies included car shows, monster trucks, drag races, Disney on ice, comedy shows, traveling, bartending, djing, and hanging out at Phil & Louann Marquez house for many events. A lifetime of treasured memories. The bond he had with his nieces and nephews was strong. Our lives were blessed to have this man.
