Michael "Mike" P. Moreno was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and
friend. He left this world on April 30, 2023 at the age of 46.
Michael was full of life. His light shined brightest when he was fishing, playing around,
or making quick witted jokes. His heart was fullest when he was with his children and
family. Michael would gladly part with his possessions if he saw that someone wanted or
needed them. And was always willing to lend a helping hand. Michael will be missed
and forever in our hearts.
Michael is survived by his wife, Shawna Moreno; children, Damian Moreno, Arianna
Moreno, Vanessa Duran, and Montee Thomas; parents, Ernest and JoAnne Moreno;
brothers, Ernest Moreno, Jesus (Rose) Moreno, and Joey Maes; sisters, Dolores
Moreno, and Consuelo Moreno (Phillip Petty); nephews, Julian Chavez, Abel Moreno,
Cedric Moreno, Thaddeus Moreno, Jaylen Petty, Jaxson Petty, and
Julian Chavez II (great); nieces, Destiny Moreno, and Ishani Chavez
(great); and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Rosary to begin at 9:30am and funeral service to follow at 10am on May 17, 2023 at the
Santa Clara Parish in Wagon Mound, New Mexico. Honorary pallbearers are Ernest,
Joey, Jesus, Julian, Abel, Damian, and Cedric.
