Our family is saddened to share that our son Michael Lee Valentin Tenorio (Mancub) tragically passed away on the morning of September 15, 2026, leaving behind a family and community who loved him beyond measure.
Michael had a never-ending love for childhood dreams and passions; be it dinosaurs and paleontology, weather, Halloween and horror, or cartoons, superheroes and anime. His fascination with this world was a special part of who he was and something that brought him great joy, curiosity, and excitement throughout his life.
But perhaps Michael’s greatest gift was the friendship he gave so freely to others. He was an incredibly loyal, caring, and devoted friend. The people fortunate enough to call Michael a friend, considered him much more, he was their brother. His presence left an unforgettable mark on countless lives.
Michael’s loss is devastating but is surpassed by the love he leaves behind. The memories, laughter, friendship, and love he shared will remain forever. Michael will always be a son, brother, uncle, friend, in every sense of the word.
May his memory live on in every story shared, every laugh remembered, every slice of pizza eaten, and every life made better because Michael was a part of it.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jose and Rita Tenorio, his maternal grandmother Dorothy Mayfield and his nephew, Clive Sanders. Uncles, Eustaquio (Taxi) Tenorio, Evaristo (Boss) Tenorio, and Jerry (Nono) Tenorio.
Michael is survived by his loving parents, Valentin and Connie Tenorio, his sisters, Valerie Tenorio and her partner Rene Valdez, Katie and husband Ryan Martinez, Shelli and husband Kyle Sanders, Desi Olguin, and his brother-in-law Ruben Romero. He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews, Estevan, Lili, Ari, Lauren, Ethan, Adrian, Logan, Wheeler and Dezra. His family meant the world to him, and the love shared will remain a lasting part of his memory.
A rosary will be prayed for Michael at 6:00pm on September 22, 2026, at Rogers Mortuary, 600 Raynolds Ave., Las Vegas, NM 87701.
