Michael F. Wester, 70, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at his home in Rociada, NM.

He was born on July 23, 1951 to Vonnie and John Wester in Las Vegas, N.M.

Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a kind-hearted person who enjoyed working on anything with an engine, and spending time outdoors at the ranch with his family, friends, and cats.

Mike spent most of his life as a mechanic, working on anything from classic cars to diesel trucks. Even after retiring, he enjoyed modifying cars and making them one of a kind. He especially enjoyed the challenge of making a modification that hadn't been done before. He was constantly researching and continuing to learn the latest automotive technology.

Mike is survived by his wife Dorothy Wester, daughter Alexandra Ortiz (Jacob), grandson Declan Ortiz, sister Ronne June, mother-in-law Madeline Rudolph, and numerous sister-in-law's, brother-in-law's, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
