Morris
Padilla
June 16, 1980 – July 25, 2025
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Morris Padilla, age 45, on July 25, 2025.
Taken from us far too soon, Morris leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. Born on June 16, 1980, Morris was a jack of all trades—a talented electrician whose creativity and meticulous craftsmanship were apparent in everything he touched. His artistry was reflected not just in his work, but in how he lived his life. He was known for his attention to detail, patience, and the love he poured into every project, big or small. Morris was a man who never knew how to say "no." Whether it was lending a hand to a friend, helping with a neighbor's project, or supporting his loved ones in any way he could, he was always there. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to go the extra mile left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. He loved deeply and expressed it in his own way—sometimes tough, sometimes tender, but always genuine. His love for his family, especially his wife Delilah and their three children, Devin, Deion, and Marissa, was boundless. At the age of 16, Morris met the love of his life, Delilah. The two were inseparable, building a life together that spanned nearly three decades. Their relationship, at times tumultuous, was a testament to their unbreakable bond, forged through highs and lows, and a love that was as fierce as it was enduring. Morris was a proud and devoted father who cherished every moment spent with his children. His love for them was unmatched, and he poured all his energy into ensuring they knew how much they meant to him. He will forever be remembered for his loyalty, his hard work, and his unwavering love for his family. One of his favorite pastimes was watching football—especially during Cowboys season. A die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan through and through, he never missed a game. Sundays were sacred: sitting with his sons, daughter and wife passionately cheering on "America's Team" and letting everyone know, loud and proud, that no other team even came close. In his words, "the other teams ain't going anywhere." His loyalty to the Cowboys was legendary, and his spirited trash talk made every game day unforgettable. As he would always say, "WHAT ABOUT DEM COWBOYS!!"
Morris is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Dulcenea Padilla, grandfather George Padilla, uncles George Jr. Padilla, Ronnie Padilla, and Wayne Padilla.
He is survived by his loving wife Delilah Padilla; children Devin Padilla (Sam), Deion Padilla (Natalie), and Marissa Padilla (Edgar); Mother Judy Padilla-Buck (Gene); and in-laws Esmael Andy Valdez and Marilyn Valdez. He is also survived by his sister Carol Abreu, as well as his brothers-inlaw and sisters-in-law who were as close as blood: Esmael Valdez (Tabitha), Andres Valdez (Hanna), Santana Sanchez (Bo), and Lourdes Gallegos (Daniel). Morris leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, including Alaura, Andres Jr., Andrianna, Amari (his goddaughter), Ashley Rose, Abigail (his goddaughter), Max (his godson), Isabella, Jacob, Kylianna, Olivia, Ayden, Giovanni, Daniel, Lucas, Jude (his godson), Kensley, and Lily. He was also a proud great uncle to Cashten, Sienna Rose, and Cannon. In addition to his immediate family, Morris is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who were blessed to have known him. The family invites all those who loved Morris to join them in remembering his incredible spirit and the love he brought to this world.
