Nina Lucero passed away Monday, September 25, 2023. Nina was born in Colorado on Sept. 3, 1982, and lived in Las Vegas, NM for most of her life. Nina was 41 years old.

If anybody knew Nina, they knew she was a hard worker and a loving nurse for 16 years. Nina was a loving mother to her two children. She was a beautiful and caring person who loved being outside and when she was inside, she loved coloring and making puzzles. She loved to laugh and make jokes; her laughter was contagious. She was a great dancer and loved music. She loved cleaning and helping others. All in all, Nina was a vibrant person.

Nina is survived by her children Gabriella and David Lucero, her siblings Regina, Leon, Genevieve, Vanessa, and Valentino. Her loving parents Valerie (Arthur) Torres and Edward Lucero. Nina had 7 nieces and nephews whom she adored along with many aunts and uncles.

The services for Nina will be held at Immaculate Conceptions Church. The rosary will be held on October 5th, 2023 at 7:00 pm and Funeral will be held on October 6th, 2023 at 9:00 am.

Cremation will take place after services and burial of cremains will be at a later date.
