It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Son Patrick. Patrick Thomas Reilly, 58, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Patrick was born on September 30, 1965, at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC, to Thomas and Katherine Reilly.
Patrick moved to various cities as a result of his Dad's government employment. He lived in: Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA; Bloomfield, NJ; Las Vegas, NM; Tampa, FL; Rockledge, FL; Birmingham, MI; Fredericksburg, VA; and San Antonio, TX.
Pat graduated from Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, TX, in 1983, and was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.A. Degree in Architectural and Environmental Design in 1988. He continued his education studying in Austria and then earning his MBA from Texas A&M University in 1995. Pat was an unfailing and enthusiastic supporter of his "Aggies".
Pat was preceded in death by his brother Michael and is survived by his parents, Tom and Kathy Reilly of Highlands Ranch, CO; sons Dylan, Chicago, IL and Liam, Charlotte, NC; his brother, Timothy (Claire) of Queens, NY; his Sister-in-Law Melanie of Centreville, VA; his nephews Finnian and Arlo; and his loving Partner, Shelly Welter of Dallas, TX. Pat tremendously enjoyed his many affectionate aunts, uncles, and cousins and also leaves behind a myriad of friends. Pat brightened the world with his smile and his life, and was a blessing to all who knew him.
Pat had 30 years' experience as an effective and accomplished commercial real estate consultant, responsible for sourcing and underwriting development and acquisition opportunities, as well as leasing, financial analysis, market analysis, broker management and other critical areas of the development process.
Pat fondest memories were traveling to Europe and Ireland with Shelly and meeting his friends at Octoberfest in Munich, Germany.
Rosary devotional services will be recited on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 9:00 a.m., with both services to be held at the family church of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Las Vegas, NM. Father Roger Lopez, OFM, a cousin, will be the celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Renovations.
