With heavy hearts, we would like to announce the passing of Paul Gonzales on August 23, 2023.

Paul was born on September 8, 1964 in Las Vegas, NM.

He grew up in Las Vegas, NM and attended West Las Vegas High School.  Paul loved to play dominos he was known to family and friends as the domino king. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Paul was an avid Denver Broncos fan and he also enjoyed drawing.

Paul is preceded in death by his son: Anthony Maes; partner: Tanya Maes; granddaughter: Zaymada Garcia.

He is survived by his mother: Rebecca Ortiz; step dad: Ralph Ortiz; children: Julian, Gilbert (Jamie) and Caroline (Erminio) and grandkids; siblings: Henry (Valerie), Angela (John); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Your life was a treasure we will always love you and you be greatly missed,

The family would like to thank Rogers Mortuary and New Mexico Behavioral Heath for all you did.

Rosary service will be recited on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 9:00am both services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Rob Yaksich as celebrant.

Cremation has taken place and burial of cremains will be held at a later date.
