Paul Martinez, age 53, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

Paul was born to Beatrice Martinez and Manuel Romero on April 29, 1971.

Paul was born in Las Vegas, NM, and was raised in Mora, NM, where he attended Mora high school, before moving back to Las Vegas to pursue a career in Home Health Care, until he retired. Paul loved the outdoors, he was a fisherman, a wood worker, handy man and his favorite thing was mechanics, Paul could make a piece of junk run like brand new, a true Jack of all trades. Paul had a big heart and a very, very good sense of humor, always joking around. He loved his friends and his family very much. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Beatrice Martinez, and his brother's James and Manny Martinez

Paul is survived by his Dad, Manuel Romero, his son's, Moises and Joseph Martinez, Daughter Shannon Martinez and Partner Raymond Valdez, his beloved Wife Sally, Brother, Michael Martinez , Patrick Romero, Sisters, Rose Marquez, Lorie Solano, and Josie Trujillo. Special relatives,  Savannah Martinez, Nesi Martinez, Timothy Martinez and Spring, Crystal , Carlos (Jr) Marquez and other  Family.

Funeral mass will be held at St Gertrude Catholic Church at 9:00 am on Friday, July 26th, 2024. Interment will follow at Mora Cemetery in Mora, New Mexico.
