Paul Steve Trujillo October 9, 1987 – October 11, 2026 Paul Steve Trujillo, 39, of Las Vegas, New Mexico, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

He was born on October 9, 1987, in Tecolote, New Mexico, to Steve and Ramona Trujillo.

Paul was a loving, caring person who cherished his family and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His unforgettable green eyes and mischievous smile could light up any room. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a special gift for making people laugh, even during the most difficult times. He loved action and excitement, with Paul around, there was never a dull moment.

Paul was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ramona Trujillo; his sister, Maria Ruiz; his grandfather, Placido “Chief” Gonzales; his uncles, Joseph “Chiefy” Gonzales and Amador “Tank” Gonzales. His family also mourns the recent passing of his cousins, Marvin Archuleta and Dajsha Gentry.

Paul is survived by his father, Steve Trujillo; his daughters, Destiny Vasquez, Zendaya Silva; his beloved grandmother, Floraida Gonzales; his aunts, Loretta Romero, Lorraine Valdez; his nieces, Christina Quintana, Bianca Ruiz, Luisa Ruiz; his great-niece, Faith Trujillo; and his cousins, Francis Romero, Melissa Valencia, Felicia Gonzales, Charles Gonzales, along with many other loving family members and friends. Paul also held a special place in his heart for his padrinos, Luis and Rosie Martinez; the Martinez family; Tina Sedillo; Laura and Hailee Archuleta.

A rosary will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 6:00 p.m on Monday, October 26, 2026., led by Paul Ortiz. Tuesday, October 27, 2026 A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 10:00 a.m., with music provided by Juan Ortega. Following the Mass, a funeral procession will depart from the church to Tecolote Cemetery, where Paul will be laid to rest with the following serving as pallbearers Steven Pacheco, Anthony Vasquez, Isaac Vialpando, Max Vialpando, Gino Lopez Sr., Gino Lopez Jr., and Michael Pacheco. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Trujillo and Steven Quintana.
