Ramiro Chavez, 80, passed away Sunday December 11, 2022 at his home in Sapello New Mexico. He was born on September 16, 1942 in El Valle San Buenaventura, Chihuahua Mexico to Felipe Arenvias and Casimina Chavez.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Felipe Arenvias and Casimina Chavez. Siblings: Maria Arenvias, Guadalupe Arenivas, Perfecta Arenvias, Berta Arenvias, Franciso Arenvias, Manuel Arenvias And Celso Arenvias. Son in law: Raphael Lara.

He was survived by his sons: Ramiro (Hortencia) Arenvias, Noe (Ramona) Arenvias, Adan (Angelica) Arenvias. Daughters - Maribel (Mario) , Lorena Arenvias, Ivone (Carlos) Vazquez, Yesenia (Waldo) Gomez, Edith Lara. Grand-Children: Madeli, Natalie(Aaron), Cynthia, Nayeli, Marisol(Pat), Alex(Jackie), Alan, Aileen(Alexis), Kassandra, Matthew, Itzel, Briana, Kristina(Jaden), Aide, Ronny, Marvin, Arlene(Alex), Darlene(Fernado), Gisselle, Keven, Carlos Jr, Misty, Desiree(Jose)Malo, Jose(Julie) Fraire, and Mario. Great Grand-Children: Isabelle, Elizabeth, Aiden, Matthias, and Baby Garcia, Andria(Mike), Alma, Dominic, Amor and Javier. Special Friends: Manuel Jauregui (el viejito), Sergio Escalente and Joey Sena. and numerous nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends

Rosary services will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Our Lady of Sorrow Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Agustin as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Buena Vista Cemetery in Buena Vista, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers: Dion Gonzales, Sergio Escalente, Alex Arenvias, Alan Arenvias, Manuel Jauregui and Carlos Vazquez. Honorary pallbearers; remaining grand-children, great grand-children, family and friends.
