Obituary

It is with a heavy and saddened heart to announce the passing away of Raymond Lee Crespin also known as Raymond Gonzales on December 7, 2024. Raymond was born April 17, 1958, to Felipita Crespin and Zito Gonzales in Tucumcari, NM.
Raymond was a son, an uncle, a brother and a hard worker who tried to live his life attempting to be useful to his fellow man and used to sing many of his favorite New Mexico music songs. He also liked to sing Credence Clearwater Revival songs and Johnny Cash songs. Also was a talented artist making greeting cards for many of his family, friends and acquaintances.
Raymond is preceded in death by his father Zito Gonzales and mother Felipita Crespin. His beloved sister Virginia Cordova Reyes and his grandparents who raised him, Jose Martinez and Elvira Maes Martinez.
Raymond is survived by his brother Victor Cordova (Linda), Elizabeth Martinez (George), Juan Jose Vigil, Susie Lott (James), Yolanda Aguilera, Jeanette Avila (Manny) and James Aguilera. Also surviving him are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
On behalf of the family, I want to thank Mabel Esquibel, Darlene Lopez, Alejandro Rivera from Amistad y Resolana and Javier Mendez for being so kind to him and always being there for him.
Graveside service will be on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
