Raymundo A. Saiz was born in Chorro, New Mexico on July 7th, 1943. He passed away surrounded by his family at home on July 11th, 2026 at the age of 83.

He is preceded in death by his parents’ Manuel and Sophia Saiz, his son, Ernest Saiz, among other family members.

Raymundo is survived by his wife, Margie Saiz, children: Arthur, Jim (Lisa) Saiz, Anabelle Saiz, Robert Saiz, Theresa Saiz, as well as his sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren who he was proud to have and loved deeply.

Raymundo married in the catholic church and spent most of his life raising his children while working on various ranches throughout Northern New Mexico and Texas. He was a passionate cowboy. Raymundo will be remembered for his friendliness, his strength, and for how hard of a worker he was.

A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Funeral mass will be on Thursday, July 16th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow at St. Anthony cemetery with the following serving as Pallbearers, Arthur Saiz, Jim Saiz, Annabelle Saiz, Robert Saiz, Theresa Saiz, and Lawrence Saiz.
