Richard Archuleta, 63, of Las Vegas, NM passed on December 25, 2022.

He was born August 1, 1959 to Jose and Florida Archuleta.

He attended West Las Vegas where he played football, basketball, ran track and won numerous awards for his amazing athletic accomplishments.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Archuleta,
Aunt (Tia) Elvira Mondragon, Nephew Christopher Archuleta, sister Susan C. Lovato and numerous relatives.

He is survived by daughters - Jamie Andrades (Luis Andrades) & Lisa Pino son - Fabian Crespin grandchildren - Victoria Andrades, Isabella Andrades and Julian Andrades mother Florida Archuleta, brothers and sisters Tony Archuleta, Irene Martinez (Charles), Jose Archuleta, and Eric Archuleta (Nichole), plus numerous relatives and friends.

He was always cracking jokes and making everyone smile and feel special. He loved connecting and spending time with people!! He loved his job at the state and always tried to make it fun for the kids at the care unit. They all loved him and appreciated him so much. He had many friends whom he considered like family. He loved his family so much! He was such an amazing son and took extraordinary care of his parents. He was also a great brother and loved his siblings. He helped guide and teach them things and played sports with them for years. Whether it was in high school, where he was always excelling and getting awards, or softball with his brothers and friends. He was the best grandpa! His grandbabies adore him! He loved his nieces and nephews so much, whom he took hiking, sledding and many other adventures. He had a tremendous love for animals. Always their biggest advocate. He also had a passion for sports and his favorite NFL team the Dallas Cowboys. He and his mother were devoted members of the Mountain View Church of Christ.

There will be services held 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 4th. It will be held at Mountain View Church of Christ. There will be food to follow.
