Roberto Erminio Vasquez of Ojo Feliz, NM, loving son, brother, and uncle, left this world peacefully on January 15, 2026, and joined his loved ones who departed before him.
Roberto was born February 11, 1951, in Ojo Feliz, NM to Claudio and Rogelia Vasquez.
Roberto was preceded in death by his parents Claudio and Rogelia Vasquez, his brothers Adolfo, Leeroy, Anthony, Orlando, and Henry Vasquez, Sister In-Law Adelina Vasquez, Brother In-Law Guillermo Casias and numerous other family.
He is survived by his sisters Clarita Casias, Balbina Casias (Roger), Floraida Nethery (John) and brother David Vasquez (Michelle). He is also survived by his uncle Ismael Vasquez (Mary), numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins, and numerous other family and friends.
Roberto (Bobe) lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed his job at Fort Union National Monument and loved working with and making wood toys with his brother Henry. Bobe also loved his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys and the cheerleaders. He also enjoyed his monthly trips to the casino, puzzles, comics, music, dances, online casino games, and spending time and talking to his family and friends.
A Rosary will be recited by La Morada de San Jose, Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Santa Clara Catholic Church in Wagon Mound, 501 Nolan St., Wagon Mound, NM at 5 p.m. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Augustine Henderson Friday, February 13, at 10 a.m. at the Santa Clara Catholic Church. Interment will be held at a later date. Refreshments will be provided after both at the Santa Clara Parish Hall in Wagon Mound, NM.
