Roxanne M. Herrera Padilla, 48, of Las Vegas, New Mexico passed away on December 11th, 2022, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She was born to Mable Herrera and Jose David Herrera on March 19th, 1974. She attended West Las
Vegas High School and graduated from Central New Mexico College. She then worked as a nurse for
Adelante for 15 years, she also ran for fiesta queen and won in 1993. She was completely devoted to her
family and took so much pride in her work, she loved children and always made friends no matter where
she went. She was a dedicated catholic and loved going to church. Roxanne married the love of her life
Daniel Padilla on March 9th, 2013, at Immaculate Conception church.
Roxanne is preceded in death by her father Jose David Herrera, (paternal grandparents) Jose Maria
Herrera, Aurora Herrera, (Cousin) Jeannette Herrera, (maternal grandparents) Antonio Fernandez,
Virginia Fernandez, (Father-in-law) Jose Maria Padilla, Uncle Tony Fernandez, and brothers Joseph
Herrera, and Dennis Baca, aunt Cindy Herrera.
Roxanne is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Padilla, her son Jose Padilla and daughter Danielle
