Samuel Montoya age, 71 a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 in Santa Fe, NM.

He was born on June 20, 1950 to Isabel and Maria Montoya in Las Vegas, NM.

He was a catholic and member of Immaculate Conception Church.

Samuel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Sam was a very generous man, helping anyone in need and he enjoyed working on cars and enjoyed going to the casino.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Michael Archuleta and Ezekiel Montoya; mother-in-law: Maria Archuleta.

Samuel is survived by his wife Rose Marie Montoya of the family home; son: Steve Montoya (Marlene) of Las Vegas, NM; grandson: Stevedaniel Montoya of Las Vegas, NM; brother and sister: George Archuleta (Cecilia) of Las Vegas, NM and Sallie Baker (Bo) of Amarillo, TX; sister's-in-law: Lorraine Sena (Ron) of Albuquerque, NM, Teresa Mora (Alvin) of Las Vegas, NM and Connie Archuleta (Clint) of Austin, TX; brother-in-law: Faustin Archuleta (Gayleen) of Ft. Lupton, CO; uncle: Levi Archuleta; partner in crime: Bobby Lovato of Las Vegas, NM; numerous: nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral mass will be on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant.

Burial of cremains will follow at Watrous Cemetery in Watrous, NM.
