Sandra L. Lucero, 55, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at her home in Las Vegas, surrounded by her loving family.

Sandra was born on August 1, 1970, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, to Susie and Eloy Lucero. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, and deep love for her family.

Sandra enjoyed crafting, playing casino games on her phone and tablet, hosting BBQs, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Cassandra Lucero; her grandparents, Refugio and Aurora Sanchez; and many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Sanchez; her children, Anthony Lucero (RaeNelle) and Tiffany Sanchez; her brother, Eloy "Lawrence" Lucero (Bernice); and her cherished grandchildren, Andre, Neveah, Josiah, Amiyah, Jodeci, Lilah, Jarvis, AJ, and Alyssa.

A Rosary will be held on March 22, 2026, at 4:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be conducted on March 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Serving as pallbearers will be Eloy "Lawrence" Lucero, Eloy "JR" Lucero III, Anthony Lucero, Tiffany Sanchez, Andre Coca, Casey Ortega, Larry Sanchez, and Chris Ranson. Honorary pallbearers are all her nieces, nephews, and extended family.
