Seledon "Agapito" Garcia, age, 89 passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at his home in Las Vegas, NM.

He was born on May 13, 1933 to Blas and Cleotilde Gutierrez in Las Vegas, nm.

He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved fishing, painting, and reading. He had a great memory. He also love to be outdoors gardening, chopping wood. He loved making new friends. He was also a veteran he served with the Army from May of 1953 to May of 1955.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Mary Frances Garcia; daughter: Dora Garcia; son: Billy Crespin; grandsons: William "Huero" Crespin, Leroy "Pancho" Crespin and Leroy Johnny Garcia.

Seledon is survived by his daughters: Jane Quintana (Nappy) and Elaine Romero (Benny) both of Las Vegas, NM; son-in-law: Leroy Garcia of Las Vegas, NM; daughter-in-law: Josie Crespin of Las Vegas, NM; grandchildren: Benito Romero (Kim), Jesus Romero (Amanda), Diego Romero (Nicole), Brenda Bustamante (John), Jennifer Sanchez, Diane Ortiz (Anthony), Michelle Garcia, Martin Garcia (Joyce) and Theresa Garcia; great grandchildren: Angel, Andrez, Alejandro, Maelynn, Thiago, Jeramiah, Josiah, Jaylynn, Jayla, Amber, Juan, Toby (Olivia), Tabitha (John), Jessica, Anthony, Joshua (Heather), Vanessa (Arthur), Vidal (Denica), Michelangelo, Soliciann, Estevan and Crystal (Dominic); a; great great grandchildren: Madeline, Kasey, Ryot, Augustus, Adelina, Josue, Uriah, Alessio, Cristina, Miguel, Aaliyah, Amelia, brother-in-law: Julian Smith of Las Vegas, NM; sister-in-law: Maria Garduno of Las Vegas, NM; special care takers: Dorothy Garcia, Mary Maes, Phillip and Teresa Baca, Cristina Maes, Paula and John Lujan; numerous: nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Rosary service will be recited on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be conducted on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 9:00am with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant both services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM with the following serving as Pallberars Benito Romero, Jesus Romero, Diego Romero, Toby Sanchez Jr., Joshua Crespin and Martin Garcia.

Honorary Pallberars will be all his remaining grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
