It is with profound sadness, we share the passing of our beloved Husband,Father,Grandfather and Great-Grandfather Steve E. Padilla who went to rest on June 1, 2025, at the age of 65 surrounded by close family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Damacio Padilla and brother, Gerald Padilla.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Marcella Leyba, two daughters and one son; Louann (Travis), Annette (Caro), and Nicholas; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; mother, Eva Padilla along with six siblings, numerous aunts,uncles,cousins,and friends.

Steve was born on January 27, 1960, in Blanchard, New Mexico. He worked at many places such as the Lumber Mill, Wildland Fire Forestry, Big O, and UWC. Steve loved being outdoors in the mountains, and fishing. He also loved listening to his radio, but would prefer Elvis Presley and The Beach Boys. He loved to be surrounded by family, watching cowboy movies, Sunday football rooting for his Las Vegas Raiders and WWE. On his own time Steve loved to color and scratch lottery tickets.

Steve will be greatly missed and loved by his family and friends but mostly by his loving wife. We love you husband,father,grandfather,and great-grandfather Steve E Padilla.

In honor of Steve there will be a service on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Rogers Mortuary Chapel in Las Vegas, NM at 10:00 am. Honorary pallbearers will be Fabian,Travis,Sam and Caro.
