Our dear mother Sylvia Gomez-Trujillo a resident of Las Vegas, NM sadly passed away on December 25, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 23, 1956 to Willie and Agneda Gomez in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her Mother: Agneda Gomez, Husband: Frank Trujillo, Brother's: Frank, and David Gomez.

She is survived by her Father: Willie Gomez (Carmen) Brother: John Gomez Children: Gabriel Gomez (Sonya), Joylynn Gomez (Frank) and Stephanie Marquez (Jarrad) all of Las Vegas, NM.
Grandchildren: Sebastian (Raeleigh), Santana (Destiny), Sabeian (Ellie), Shawn (Shelby), Seneca (Madi), Sammi, Sebrena, Shane, Christian (Trinity), Michael, Destiny, Mariah and Ulisses, and her fur baby Stormi. Nieces and Nephews: Josie Gomez-Gonzales (Brad), Chico Gomez (Vicky) of Amarillo, TX. Isaac Lucero (Christina), Tammy Lucero-Valdez (Edward), Eden Gomez, all of Las Vegas, NM. Valerie Gomez of El Paso, TX.
Special Aunt: Erlinda Lucero of Las Vegas, NM. Numerous Cousins, Family, and Friends.

She worked for Victory Home Health for many years. In 1995 she met the love of her life Frank, they moved to Cerritos, CA. They moved back in 2000 to Las Vegas to care for her mother, and they continued to build their beautiful life together at Beer Wolf Ranch in Las Vegas, where they welcomed all family and friends.
Our beautiful Mother, Tya (grandma as Ulisses named her when he was a baby) was an amazing woman, loving, caring and friendly in every way possible. She loved helping people with anything they needed from food on her table to a place to sleep her door was always open she welcomed everyone with open arms. She loved cooking up a storm for her army and always had extra for us to take home. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She would make friends anywhere she went and had the biggest heart of gold. She loved to write poems, Spanish music, sing and dance.

Viewing: January 5, 2023 from 1:00 to 5:00pm at Roger's Mortuary

Rosary service will be recited on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 9:00am both services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with the following serving as Pallbearers: Her Grandsons,
Christian Herrera, Michael Maestas, Sebastian Saiz-Gomez, Santana Saiz-Gomez, Sabeian Saiz-Gomez, Shawn Saiz-Gomez.
