Tana Vega 73

Tana was a long time resident of Las Vegas, was called home to the Lord on June 29, 2022.

She was born in Las Vegas, NM on May 8, 1949 to Albert Jacoby and Martha Montano. She is preceded in death by her parents Albert Jacoby and Martha Montano. Her daughter Alberta Valdez, son Albert Vega, and sister Yolanda Jacoby. Tana Vega was a woman of strong faith. She believed in putting her trust and life in God's  hands.Tana enjoyed crocheting, sewing, knitting, and doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren.She made sure all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren had mementos of her hardwork.Tana also enjoyed baking, but her biggest passion was her animals. Tana never turned away a pet in need. Tana always received phone calls from family and friends for recommendations, and advice when their pets were ill.Tana was known as an amateur veterinarian.TanaVega was a graduate of West LasVegas High School. Although Tana leaves behind a grieving husband, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren family and friends, she is being welcomed home in heaven by her children.

She is survived by her husband Gilbert Vega, her son Charlie Vega, daughter in law Clarissa Vega, special granddaughter Marrisa Valdez (Christopher), Grandchildren Justin Valdez, Cristian Valdez, Reyes Vega, Kayla Vega (Luke), Noah Vega, great grandchildren Mavrin, Anson, Weston, Anthony, Chloe, Dean , Ziarrah , Zaylee, brother Frank Jacoby (Mary Alice) of Pecos, NM, sister Rosemarie Connell (Larry) of Albuquerque, NM, brother Theresa Jacoby of Santafe, NM, brother Christopher Jacoby (Kristen) of Connecticut, sister in law Lucille Vega (Robert) of Las Vegas, NM, brother in law Joe Vega (Mary Francis) of Albuquerque, NM, Special Friend Anna Marie Gallegos ( Benny) Albuquerque, NM and Numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 7 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Funeral Mass will be conducted on Saturday July 2, 2022 at 9.00 a.m. Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM with the following serving as pallbearers Reyes Vega, Kayla Vegas, Cristian Valdez, Justin Valdez, Cisco Vega and Noah Vega. Honorary pallbearers are all her great- grandchildren.
