Teresita "Theresa" Martinez, age 88, longtime resident of Las Vegas NM, and recently El Paso, TX, went to meet her Heavenly Father with all her family by her side on December 4, 2022. She was born on May 13, 1934 in Guadalupita, NM to Frank Martinez and Donaciana Vigil.

She retired from the State Hospital known as N.M.B.H.I as a Psych tech. After retirement she dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and family. She loved to travel and caring for others. She had many wonderful friends in Las Vegas, NM that kept in contact with and loved dearly.

Theresa proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Estevan Martinez and Adolph Martinez; sisters Cora Martinez, Lourdes Montoya, Cleo Gonzales and infant daughter Florence Velasquez; Special great grandson Brian Salazar.

Survived by her daughters Vivian (Henry) Jaramillo from Las Vegas, NM; Lupe "Wally" (Floyd) Padilla from Albuquerque, NM; Bertha (Frank) Armijo from El Paso, TX; Ernest Salazar (raised like a son).

Special grandchildren Kenneth Jaramillo; Kevin (Vera) Jaramillo; Kraig Jaramillo; Ernest (Debbie) Salazar; Steve (Amanda) Salazar; Daniel (Kathryn) Salazar; Justin (Sam) Wood.

Special granddaughter April (Jesse) Gonzalez. Special nieces; Pablita Tapia (raised like a daughter); Gloria Romero and special nephew Robert Martin(raised like a son).13 Great grandchildren; 3 Great great grandchildren and many special nephews, nieces and numerous cousins. Special friends Josie Arrieta (like a sister to Theresa); Carmen Hoogerhuis; Bennie Gonzalez.

Rosary devotional services will be conducted at 8:30am followed by the mass Wednesday December 14, 2022 at IC Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant..

Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM with the following Pallbearers her grandchildren: Kenneth, Kevin, Kraig, Ernest, Steve, Daniel, April and Justin. Honorary Pallbearers: All her great grandchildren and great great grandchildren
