Theodore J. Marquez, age 47, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023.

He was born on March 31, 1976 to the Late Gloria H. Marquez in Las Vegas, NM.

Theo was a Loving Son, Grandson, Brother, and friend but most of all he was the best Uncle! He loved all his nieces and nephews and enjoyed each and every one of them when they were with him! His favorite thing in life to do was listen to music, be with family and ride his bike. He had a deep Passion for Tejano and Northern NM music. He also loved spending time at the flea market to see what good deals there was for him! He will be dearly missed for the loving and caring kind of person he always was.

Theodore is preceded in death by his Mother: Gloria H. Marquez, Grandpa: Dan Barela, Uncles: Chris and Mark Barela and Special Cousin Robert Romero

He is survived by his Brother: Leonard Marquez (Peggy) of Las Vegas, NM, Sisters: Melissa Gonzales (Joshua) of Sena, NM, Jessica Sanchez (Johnny) of Ribera, NM and Patricia Valadez of Las Vegas, NM; Grandmother: Teresa Barela, Nieces: Francesca (Jacob), Mikaela and Danielle, Nephews: Joshua Cane (Britney), Dominic (Aisha), Devin (Alexandria), Joshua (Misty), Joaquin, Lorenzo, Jonathon and Isaiah; Great Nieces: Emery Marquez and Jaylee Sanchez; Great Nephew: Christian Marquez, Aunties: Brenda Esquibel (James) of Amarillo, TX; Mary Alirez of Las Vegas, NM, Isabel Lucero (Eppie) of Las Vegas NM, and Jackie Martinez-Urioste of Alb.NM, Uncles: Salomon Gomez (Rebecca) of Sandia Park, NM, Arturo Gomez of Sandia Park, NM, Willie Gomez (Carmen) of Las Vegas, NM and Rick Martinez (EJ) of Las Vegas NM.

Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 7:00pm at Our lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 9:00am at Our lady of Sorrows Church with Father Rob Yaksich as celebrant.

Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery with the following serving as Pallbearers; Joshua Cane Marquez, Dominic Marquez, Devin Marquez, Joshua Gonzales, Jonathon Gonzales, Lorenzo Sanchez, Mark Barela, and Freddie Gomez. Honorary Pallbearers: Joaquin Sanchez and all his remaining nieces and nephew.
