Tim Strahl, age 55, of Las Vegas, NM passed away on May 08, 2026. He was born in Las Vegas, NM on September 07, 1970 to Gloria Garcia Strahl.

He lived his life to the fullest. He had a heart of gold, and accepted everyone for who they were. He graduated from West Las Vegas High School in 1989. Shortly after he started working through Pepsi-Cola company for many years up until retirement. He resided in upper Rociada, a place he called home. He was an avid Los Hermanos motorcycle club rider along with being a member. That was one of his passions. Shortly after, he met the love of his life Louise (Lulu) and started their life together. He then went back into the working field where he worked at the New Mexico Behavioral Health institute for the past 13 years. He was an avid Denver Bronco fan.

He is preceded in death by his mother Gloria Garcia Strahl, his grandparents Ruben and Brenilda Garcia, his baby boy Tim Strahl Jr, step son Jefferey Romero, sister-in-law Theresa Lucero (Martinez), and sister Cheryl Vigil.

Tim is survived by his wife Louise Romero, stepson Joey Romero and family, sister Sonya Barela (Lawrence), Anthony Duran (Elenor) which he considered a brother, brother-in-law Dale Vigil, his mother-in-law Hazel Gutierrez (Roybal). Sister in laws - Marie Pacheco, Alice Lucero (Raquel) Betty Benavidez (Joe), Dolores Romero, Helen Roybal (Richard) and Michelle Gonzales (Adrian). His nephews Justin and Jason, Cody, Bryce, Cory, Zachariah and Alexander. His nieces, Tiffany, Vanessa, and Violet as well as numerous cousins and extended family.

Tim touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

Rosary will be held on Monday May 18, 2026 at 6:00 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday May 19, 2026 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at Santo Nino Cemetery in Lower Rociada, NM. Urn bearers will be Anthony Duran, Adrian Gonzales, Jason Schafer and Lawrence Barela. Honorary urn bearers will include all his nephews, nieces and step grandchildren.
