Tomas G. Gonzales, age 62, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico passed away on October 19, 2010.
He was born in Gonzales Ranch on June 8, 1948 to Evaristo and Amalia Gonzales.He was united in marriage at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM on February 8, 1965 to Theresa E. Patron. He was formerly employed at the NM State Highway Dept. He loved to hunt, fish and just being outdoors.A lifelong Catholic, he was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
He was preceded in death by his son: Rick Gonzales and brother: David Gonzales.He is survived by his wife: Theresa Gonzales of the family home; son: Lawrence Gonzales and wife Amanda of Las Vegas, NM; daughters: Ellen Ashe and boyfriend Walter Gonzales of Chacon, NM; Beatrice Gonzales of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren: Jessica Gonzales and husband Steven Garcia; Lawrence Gonzales III and girlfriend Jaileen, Angelica Alirez and husband JR.; Krystine, Angel, Nathan Gonzales, Benerito Angel, Patrick Ashe III, Sean Gonzales, Rique Ashe and Alekzandria Ashe; great-grandchildren: Kyra Gonzales, Lillian Alirez, Joe Alirez, Riley Alirez, Elijah Reigh Garcia; parents: Evaristo and Amalia Gonzales of Gonzales Ranch, NM; sisters: Sally Gabaldon and husband George of Los Lunas, NM; Isabel Vigil and husband Gilbert of Las Vegas, NM; Patsy Salazar and husband Jimmy of Moriarty, NM; Julia Segura and husband Marcus of Las Vegas, NM; Bernadette Padilla and husband Jimmy of Los Lunas, NM; Mary Alice Baca and husband Mark of Albuquerque, NM; brothers: Charles Gonzales and wife Denise of Las Vegas, NM; Steven Gonzales and wife Tasha of Las Vegas, NM; brother-in-law: David Patron; numerous: aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friendsCremation has taken place. Rosary services will be conducted on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 8:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 9:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant.
