Tony A. Crespin, 69, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico passed away at home, peacefully surrounded by his family on November 10, 2022.

Tony was born October 28, 1953, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He attended and graduated from West Las Vegas High School. Tony retired from the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute after 25 years of service. After retirement Tony spent the following 26 years being a loving and loyal family man. His hobbies included gardening, wood working, having coffee at the Hillcrest Restaurant with his buddies, and spending time with his pets.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Marlene D. Crespin and daughter, Celaniz J. Crespin and brother Benny Benavidez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Tony is preceded in death by his mother Teresita Benavidez, and sisters Sally Gonzales, Mary Ann Gallegos, Julia Encinias, Cecilia Tafoya, Geneva Benavidez who he was raised with and thought of her as a sister and sister-in-law Gloria Benavidez.

Cremation has taken place. A rosary for Tony will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 6 p.m. A funeral mass will follow on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Father Rob Yaksich will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Adelio Bustamante, Danny Gallegos, Dr. Pablo Vigil, Ray Trujillo, Telesfor Romero, and William D. Cox.
