Trinnie M. Larranaga

Our Gentle and Loving Mother passed away peacefully on December 30, 2022 at the age of 82. Trinnie was born in Las Vegas, NM to Christobal and Amalia Encinias.

Trinnie left behind many broken hearts. She will live on in our memories and our hearts for the rest of our lives.  She was kind, gentle and so loving.  She loved her family more than anything. She was so proud to be a grandmother and loved her precious grandchildren so much. She was always willing to help everyone in any way possible. She was a very loving and beautiful soul inside and out.  She was intelligent and had a mind so sharp, with a clear strong memory of things and people from way back in the past and present. She was known for her famous tamales. For many years she made thousands of tamales and passed on the tradition to her children and grandchildren. Mom words "one must give love and then you too shall be loved."

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jose Basilio Larranaga, sons David, Martin, Carl and Robert, grandson Antonio, siblings Frank, Manuel, Angie, MaryJean, Lita, Katy, Tina.

She is survived by her children Patricia (Anthony), Lorenzo (Jeanette), Anna, grandchildren Nicole (Nate), Alicia, Elizabeth, Shane, great grandchildren Andrew, Julian, Harmony.  Many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the caregivers of Vida Encantada Nursing Home and Amber Care nurses and staff for the wonderful LOVING care they gave to our mother.

Services will be held at: Immaculate Conception Church, 811 6th Street, Las Vegas, NM on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 9:00am funearl mass to follow. Flowers may sent to Rogers Mortuary.

Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM.

The family will not be having a reception.

We hope everyone in the year 2023 will have a time for healing and peace.
