Viola Aragon, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend to all, and servant to our Lord God, was called home on Friday, Oct. 25 in Albuquerque. She was 65.
She was born on December 20, 1958, to Arquelino and Elvira Aragon in Las Vegas, N.M.
Viola dedicated herself to her family and friends and her clients in her profession as a social worker. She treated everyone with love and respect and was loved by all who met her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Elvira Aragon, father, Arquilino Aragon, and uncle, Eloy Salazar.
Viola is survived by her children: Theresa Leblanc and Raul Aragon of Albuquerque, NM and grandchildren, Alana LeBlanc, Mikelle LeBlanc, and Emiliana Aragon
Other survivors include: Her brothers, Benny Aragon and wife Irvita Aragon of Farmington, NM, Francisco Aragon and wife Yvonne Gonzles of Albuquerque, and George Aragon and wife Allison Aragon of Albuquerque.
Nephew, Arquilino Aragon and wife, Larilinda, and children, Autiaunna Aragon, Shayla Aragon, and Onesimo Aragon. Niece, Jacqueline Griego and Eugene Gonzales and children Ayden and Jordan Gonzales. Niece, Alex Aragon and children Elijah and Enzo Maestas. Nieces, Ivana Araon, Victoria and Gabrielle Tye, and nephew Venancio Aragon.
Aunt Margarita Romero and Aurelia Salazar and her children MaryAnn Lucero and husband, Richard, and their daughter, Micaela; Yolanda Salazar; Lorraine Bustos and husband, Joseph; Elizabeth Salazar; Anthony Salazar and wife, Soraya, and their son Antonio; and Martin Salazar.
A public rosary will be recited on Friday 15 November at 7:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. A private funeral mass and burial will be held on Saturday 16 November at 9:30 A.M. Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Rev. Rob Yaksich as celebrant.
