Viola Martinez, a resident of Albuquerque, NM and longtime resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away Monday, December 25, 2023. A 1965 graduate of Robertson High School, Viola was born on November 18, 1946 to Jesus C de Baca and Carlotta Paiz C de Baca. She was united in marriage to Tony Martinez, Jr. on September 25, 1965. Viola worked for many years at the Bank of Las Vegas and owned Tony's Food Market with her husband, Tony Martinez, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret M Solan of Albuquerque, NM, sons; Anthony Martinez, III (Judy) of Las Vegas, NM, Jose Martinez (Devonna Williams) of Santa Fe, NM, grandchildren; Anthony Martinez, IV. (Kim), Amanda Martinez (Noah Garcia), Kyle Solan, Jose Martinez, Justine Solan, Feliz Martinez, Eusebio Martinez and James Garza, great grandchildren; Anthony Martinez, V., Adrian Martinez, Jasmin Abraham, Landeyn Martinez, Noah Garcia, Emma Garcia and Caleb Martinez, brothers; Leo C de Baca (Mary Rose) and Eddie C de Baca (Linda), sisters; Stella Estrada (Joe), Rosie Baca, sister-in-law; Arlene Gomez (Albert), brother-in-law; Herman Martinez (Teddie), numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place.
