Viola Trujillo, daughter, beloved sister, aunt, godmother and friend, passed away peaceful Saturday, September 26th at her home in Las Vegas, NM. Born on January 11, 1947, in Las Vegas NM, Viola enjoyed life to the fullest, loved music and dancing in the community she lived in.

Viola is proceeded in death by her parents, Juan A. and Helen B. Trujillo, brother, Chris Trujillo, sister Anna Romero, brother-in-law Paul E. Romero.

She is survived by her sister Edwina B. Trujillo; Nephews; Mark S. Romero (Lisa), Phillip Romero (Felisha), Johnathan Trujillo (Erica), Matt Bustos (Ari), Peter Romero, Paul Romero (Colleen), Andrew Bustos (Mireia) and Adam Bustos. Nieces; Stephanie Romero (Gary) and Kristine Johnson, and many great nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.

Viola graduated from RHS, in 1966. She began her career in cosmetology and later worked in the school systems. Her adventurous spirit led her to live in numerous places such as; Hawaii, Colorado, and California. Yet she always found her way back home.

Rosery and Celebration of Life will be held on October 11, 2026, at 1:00pm at Rogers Mortuary Las Vegas, New Mexico.
