With profound sadness we announce the passing of Virginia Grace Gallegos on Thursday, July 2, 2026 in Santa Fe, NM. She was born in Las Vegas, NM on January 8, 1930 to the late Lee Mayhan and Bernice Gurule.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Benjamin O. Gallegos and her parents.

Virginia was a lifetime resident of Las Vegas and a devout Catholic at Immaculate Conception Church. Her most cherished moments were spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons Ben Anthony Gallegos, Carl Lee Gallegos, Howard Allen Gallegos and daughter Annette Ruth Gallegos (Paul) all of Las Vegas, NM. She also had numerous other relatives who will miss her dearly.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 1:30 pm at Rogers Chapel in Las Vegas, NM. A graveside service will follow at Santo Nino Cemetery in Los Alamitos, NM. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Ludi, Ben A. Gallegos, Carl Lee Gallegos, Howard Gallegos, Bobby Baca, Pat Trujillo.
