Gerald Adrian Hern, age 42, a longtime resident of Anton Chico, NM passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021.

He was born on November 29, 1978 to Gerald Alvin Hern and Rachel Dorrance in Albuquerque, NM.

Adrian was a very giving person to anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing, raising his dogs, spending time with his family and he loved his children. He loved being outside, gardening, woodworking and mechanicing. Adrian was a very adventurous person with a wild and free spirit.

He was preceded in death by his father: Gerald Alvin Hern, maternal-grandmother: Katherine Dorrance, Tio: Paul Dorrance, Paternal-grandmother: Angelina Hern and uncle; Benny Dorrance.

He is survived by his daughter: Mariah Hern and Marie Avila both of Phoenix, AZ; son: Adrian Hern and grandson: Tautofi Adrian Fidow and granddaughter: Jeanette Teofilo all of Phoenix, AZ; mother: Rachel Hern (Greg) of Edgewood, NM; brother and sisters: Adam Hern of Anton Chico, NM; Abriall Hern of Edgewood, NM; Amber Lucero (Ricardo) of Anton Chico, NM; nephews and nieces: A.J., Marissa, Christian, Raquel, Leland and Benito; numerous: aunts and uncles.

Adrian will be immensely missed by family and friends.

Rosary service will be conducted on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 7:00pm at the St. Joseph's church in Anton Chico, NM.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Church in Anton Chico, NM with Father Timothy Muerer as Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Adam Hern, Greg Sanchez, John Martinez, Abran Nelson, Benito Dorrance, Leland Lucero, Adrian Hern and Isacc Chavez. Honorary Bearer will be Ricardo Lucero.  Burial of cremains will be held at a later Date.
