Jenai Shania Espinoza, age 22, a longtime resident of New Mexico passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
Jenai is our baby born on August 7, 1999 in Fort Carson, CO to James and Jennifer Espinoza.
As a young child Jenai had such a vivid imagination. She dressed up in princess dresses and called herself Princess Diamond. She enjoyed running cross country and road races with her brother and sister during junior high and high school. Jenai loved to worship God even as a little girl. She recently was part of the worship team and loved being in the presence of our Lord. She loved God with her heart soul and mind. She not only believed in him but followed him. Jenai had so many hobbies and interests. She loved to draw and dreamed of becoming an anime artist. She dreamed of going to Japan. Jenai loved music and movies. She loved to watch Marvel and Star Wars movies with her sister, and eighty movies with her dad. She loved animals especially her babies, she has two dogs and three cats who she loved dearly. Jenai loved her family with an unending love, she had a servant's heart and took care of all her family. She woke up every morning to help her dad make breakfast for her family. She loved her siblings deeply. Sarah and Jenai were best friends and were always together a bond death cannot take. She loved her brother James and her new sister Chyanne and prayed for them daily. She loved being an aunt and loved her nephews and niece with all her heart. She loved to sit on the floor and play dinosaurs with her nephews. She was looking forward to tea parties and dress up with her niece. She loved to spoil them and buy toys and clothes. Jenai loved her church family and was so grateful to have them. She loved being in the mountains and loved living in the Mora area.
She is survived by her parents: James and Jennifer Espinoza of Cleveland, NM; brother: James Albert Espinoza (Chyanne) of Rio Rancho, NM; sister: Sarah Espinoza of Cleveland, NM; nephews: Nicholas and Lucas, niece: Autumn, maternal grandparents: Dale and Ruby Medina of Espanola, NM; paternal grandmother: Eunice Espinoza of Chimayo, NM; aunts: Bella Espinoza of Chimayo, NM; Desirae Lujan (Ty) of Alcalde, NM; uncles: Matthew Medina and Joseph Medina both of Espanola, NM; cousins: Tyson Lujan and Logan Lujan, numerous: other relatives and many friends.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00am at the Mora Christian Center in Mora, NM with Pastor Jerry Martinez.
